Roy’s Story.
I had my first experience with Texas barbeque in 1964, 60 years ago. I was 14 years old and took a job working for King's Barbeque in McKinney, Texas, my hometown. Walking into that store, smelling the smoke, and seeing the briskets and meats cooking in a brick BBQ pit fueled by flames of burning oak and pecan wood, I fell in love with Texas BBQ!
